The release of new previews for.NET 6 and related frameworks was the highlight of this week. SDK workloads, a new feature in.NET 6 Preview 5, is the core of Microsoft. NET unification goal, according to Richard Lander, programme manager for the.NET team at Microsoft. Developers can now add support for new application types (such as mobile and WebAssembly) without having to increase the SDK’s size. The addition of two new verbs – list and update – to the new feature provides a preview of the planned final experience with the general availability release in November.
